○About fucoidan

Fucoidan is a sulfated polysaccharide found mainly in various species of brown seaweed such as kombu, wakame, bladderwrack and mozuku.

Substantial pharmaceutical research has been done on fucoidan, primarily on two distinct forms F-fukoidan, which is 95% composed of sulfated esters of fucose and U-fukoidan, which is approximately 20% glucuronic acid.

As a consequence of this research, U-fucoidan and F-fucoidan are now being marketed as a nutraceutical, a supposed "miracle drug", and a food supplement.

Researchers began studying fucoidan around 1970, and since that time fucoidan has been cited in approximately 700 studies published in the National Library of Medicine's database.

A study released in 2005 by Japanese researchers have indicated that F-fucoidan which, include more than 13% of sulfuric acid basis, can induce apoptosis in human lymphoma cell and cancer cell lines.

Our products of fucoidan, which is F-fukoidan and it is macromolecule fucoidan, are made from natural mozuku of Tonga. Fucoidan must be macromolecule. If fucoidan was not macromolecule, it is not real fucoidan.

○Why we choose natural mozuku of Tonga for fucoidan?

Sea of Tonga does not have marine pollution. We do not choose mozuku of Okinawa, because sea of Okinawa has marine pollution.
In addition mozuku includes fucoidan of 5 to 8 times than kombu and wakame. And mozuku of Tonga contains fucoidan 3 times than mozuku of Okinawa in Japan.
So we can extract high quality fucoidan from natural mozuku of Tonga. And we do not add any additive for fucoidan at all.
